    There are several national banks and NBFCs which offer special loans to afford rooftop solar. You can find the details of the lenders and their offers on the National Rooftop Solar Portal/PM Surya Ghar portal. There are around 18 banks/NBFcs which offer residential rooftop solar loans.

    It is the local electricity company (discom) which gives all the required govt clerances to install the rooftop solar. It is not possible to install rooftop solar without their permission.

For those going above 3 Kw there are no additional subsidies as the benefits are capped upto 3 KW. In addition to the central subsdies, you get additional subsidies from states too.     First of all be clear of the fact that the benefits of PM Surya Ghar is given only for residential properties and not for offices. In caee you want to install rooftop solar at your office, there will be no govt financial support. The first process usually is your application through National Rooftop Portal where you have fill all the details. Soon after you fill the details, the online file goes to the local discoms seeking Technical Feasibility Report (TFR). Usually the discoms grant TFR within 15 days. Only after getting the TFR, you can ask the vendors to install the rooftop solar. Even after installation, your need discom permissions and approvals to commission it.
