Unlike the presence of more than 130 solar module manufacturing companies in India, there are few companies in India which are into solar cell manufacturing as it needs high capital and skilled manpower. Currently some of the companies which are into solar cell manufacturing include-Websol, Premier Energies, Emmvee, Adani Solar and others. However, now a large number of solar module makers in India have announced starting solar cell production.
