Yes. You can clean solar panels without water too. For this, you can use soft micro-fibre-based cleaners. These are easily available offline and online. Many of them also come with extendable rod lengths to increase the extent of these dry cleaning equipment.

The efficiency of solar cells (or solar modules at large) means the capacity of the item to capture the sunlight falling onto it and convert it into electrician energy. It is calculated by the total electrical output of the solar cells, divided by the incident solar power input under standard test conditions. The figures are then multiplied by 100. Different type of solar cells produce different level of efficiency based on the technologies used. For example mono-PERC cells are more efficient than polycrystalline cells. Similarly, TOPCon cells are more efficient than mono-PERC cells.

The move has now encouraged a lot of solar module makers to start their own solar cell lines. The move is likely to halt the entry of cheap solar cells from China and other countries.

Solar inverter makers give special LCD display on their equipment for the solar plant owners to monitor their functioning. This is in addition to the mobile app connected through WiFi which is also used to monitor the functioning of solar inverters. In case of any error (like in case of high grid voltage, malfunctioning of inverters and others, error messages or disconnected messages are shown both in the LCD and on the mobile app. It is advised that the solar plant user should regularly check the functioning of the inverters to avoid loss of generation from the solar plants. In case of any inverter issue, connect with the solar vendor who installed the inverter an solar panel for assistance. In case they are of no help, connect with the inverter manufacturer.
