    Consumers who want to apply for the connections under the scheme can apply through the National Rooftop Solar Portal also called PM Surya Ghar Portal.     Consumers who want to apply for the connections under the scheme can apply through the National Rooftop Solar Portal also called PM Surya Ghar Portal. Here the consumers need to make an online account with their mobile number and OTP, fill the form and submit their applications. Application is free of cost. After the application, the local power distribution company takes up the Feaibility Report and after that the consumer cabn choose their vendors who can install the project. Consumers also need to fill their bank account details and the government gives subsidies after the commissiong of the project. The subsidies comes after around 30days-45 days. Consumers can also track the status of their project and disbursement of the subsidies with this portal.
