Most inverter makers allow real-time monitoring of rooftop solar performance through their authorised mobile app. For this the inverter needs to be connected either with a wifi or through a GSM system. This empowers the users to track every day generation, monthly and yearly generation, average savings, carbon dioxide emissions reduced among others. This also alerts the users in case any malfunction is reported on the system through the mobile even if the person is not there near the project site.
